We are taking a look back at ASHE’s history and asking a trivia question each week based on an important event that happened during that year. In 1992, the ASHE President was Roger W. Olson. The 29th Annual Conference was held in June at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. Question: In 1992, Riots broke out in Los Angeles and lasted for six days–resulting in 53 deaths and more than $1 billion in damage. What was spurred these riots?
