Carpenter Electric, Inc. Celebrates 30 Years in West Palm Beach

The company has continued to grow because they have adapted quickly

to new market conditions.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida—Carpenter Electric, Inc. recently celebrated the company’s first three decades in the electrical business as it completed 30 years of operations since the enterprise’s founding in 1982. Since the company started, Carpenter has grown to employ over 100 people.

Carpenter Electric is the only company in Florida that has acquired the franchise operations of the TEGG Corporation, an extensive network delivering comprehensive electrical service and preventive and predictive maintenance solutions to commercial and industrial facilities.

Carpenter Electric provides professional support services to protect commercial and industrial facilities from electrical system failures, electrical fires, and resultant business interruptions and property damage through the implementation of comprehensive electrical preventive maintenance functions. Some of their clients include the Riviera Beach Pepsi Bottling Plant, the Riviera Beach Water Treatment Plant, and Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience where they use ultrasonic testing and infrared thermography as part of the process.

“Reflecting on our first 30 years in business, Carpenter’s management team is deeply grateful to our customers for their confidence in our ability to carry out many of their critical projects.  We also want to offer our heartfelt thanks to the company’s employees and their families, whose creativity, dedication and sacrifices allowed us to fulfill our customer commitments while also building a strong foundation for future growth,” said Vance Carpenter, the owner of Carpenter Electric.

The TEGG Division of Carpenter Electric conducts “Lunch and Learn” Safety Training Courses that explain how important safety is around energized electrical systems.  They are state certified for continuing education units for Fire Fighters and EMT’s on Arc Flash Safety.

Carpenter Electric builds projects and provides exemplary service to many large Commercial accounts including the outside lighting at the Palm Beach Outlet Mall and the lighting maintenance for all the Enterprise Rental and Auto Nation Car dealers in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, just to name a few. They also installed an Automatic Transfer Switch for the emergency generator for the South Florida Water Management District to prevent disruptions if they lose power.

“We are very fortunate to be surrounded by such talented and dedicated employees without whom none of our growth would be possible. Our team has worked diligently to develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships that are truly the recipe for our success,” Rick Seymour, Carpenter Electric CEO commented.
